I hate every possible elliptical which has moving arms.
Fixed arms is the only way to go. It is not an adapted opinion, it is my year long experience, that ellipticals with fixed arms are better. I had the pleasure to use Precor and I really like them.

The movement you arms have to do while exercising on eli with moving handles is very unnatural. It does not work with the way your legs move. Legs do the eliptical, arms go back and forth.

Plus, I hate it to not use the moving handles, while they are there. The legs then carry that additional weight of the handles and the movement is unpleasant. To say it adds more difficulty to exercise is foolish, as you struggle with mechanical imperfection rather than pleasant exercise weight.

Sad, that I cant really afford a precor without handles. And I dont think there are other companies who make fixed ones.
